SOT, Djamel Belmadi, Algerian football coach (French): "[Riyad Mahrez] he's a player who puts himself in tune with the team, a player who today more than ever wants to be a leader and who takes on that role even if, as I already explained at the start of the competition, not everything rests on his shoulders. I'm not a coach who builds a team around one player. A team is built around itself with all its strengths."

SOT, Djamel Belmadi, Algerian football coach: "I don't think this question is for me. I think this question is for the Egyptians themselves, not myself. We are anyway going to play tomorrow with our fans, and it's more than enough, so if they want to join us 'welcome!' (Arabic). If it's not this case, like it happened until now, it's ok, it will be good for us, no problem."

Algeria's national football team held their final training session in Cairo on Thursday ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations final against Senegal.
Speaking to journalists, head coach Djamel Belmadi praised the contribution of Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez to the team's success. "He's a player who puts himself in tune with the team, a player who today more than ever wants to be a leader and who takes on that role even if, as I already explained at the start of the competition, not everything rests on his shoulders", said Belmadi, warning that despite Mahrez's performance his team was not built around one player.
Algeria are looking to win their second Africa Cup of Nations in the final game taking place in Cairo on Tuesday. They previously won the trophy in 1990.
