President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker held a speech in front of an audience after he visited the refugee registration shelter in Passau, Thursday. Juncker spoke about the challenges the continent faces, from relations with Russia to the crisis of Europe's identity as well as the ongoing refugee crisis rocking the continent. "People of the whole world admire Europe, because we made it possible after WWII to make a place for peace out of this continent," Juncker said, arguing that the "only ones who are not proud of Europe are the Europeans themselves." Juncker also urged the European Union to strengthen its relationship with Russia. "It is not that sexy, but it has to be done. We cannot go on like this."
