White Suspect Arrested in Killing of Nine at Black U.S. Church

A white man suspected of shooting nine people dead during Bible study at a historic African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina was arrested on Thursday. Authorities say the massacre was motivated by racial hatred. The mass shooting set off an intense 14-hour manhunt that ended when 21-year-old Dylann Roof was arrested in a traffic stop in a small North Carolina town 220 miles north of where the shooting occurred.
