ABC Anchor Apologizes For Undisclosed Donation to Non Profit Organization

George Stephanopoulos, the ABC News anchor, apologized on Thursday for his previously undisclosed $75,000 in donations to the Clinton Foundation.
The news anchor served in the White House during former president Clinton's first term.
Stephanopoulos said in a statement provided to POLITICO. "However, in hindsight, I should have taken the extra step of personally disclosing my donations to my employer and to the viewers on air during the recent news stories about the Foundation. I apologize."
According to CNN the total donation was initially reported at $50,000, but Stephanopoulos later accounted for an additional $25,000 donation he made in 2012.
ABC has since put its support behind the anchor, calling it an "honest mistake."
