AppleCare Will Replace Ailing Batteries on More Apple Devices

The batteries inside your Apple devices may have just gotten new life.
Apple has broadened its coverage for worn out batteries beyond its mobile lineup through its AppleCare Protection warranty service, a move that could extend the life of many customer's devices. The news, first reported by MacRumors and confirmed on, means a MacBook, MacBook Air and a MacBook Pro with a battery at less than 80% of its original capacity can be replaced (free of charge) under the coverage.
