Hundreds of secondary school students gathered at a Hong Kong University on Friday, to show their discontent over the government's anti-mask law.
Footage shows protesters wearing cardboard masks and marching as well as forming a human chain. Some wore masks depicting Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Under the regulation, which came into force earlier in October, officers can stop and require people in public to remove their mask. A violation of the ban can result into a fine up to of €2,867 ($3,200) and one year in prison.
In October, a court in Hong Kong rejected a bid against the ban, but a full judicial review will be heard by the High Court by the end of the month.
