USA: Democratic voters hit the polls as Kentucky primary kicks off

Thousands of polling stations opened their doors in Kentucky on Tuesday morning for the Democratic Presidential Primary and Kentucky State Primary, as shown by footage shot at the Henry F. Moss Middle School in Bowling Green.
In the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders currently faces an uphill battle against Hillary Clinton, despite winning the West Virginia primary on May 10. Clinton currently has 1,716 pledged delegates of whom 524 are super delegates, Sanders counts 1,433 delegates including 40 super delegates.
The polling stations in Kentucky will remain open for voters till 18.00 local time today, while the results are expected later the same evening. On the same day as Kentucky, Oregon will have its presidential primaries, where Republicans will also head to the polls.
