A hippopotamus was seen walking through the streets of Tbilisi on Sunday, after heavy flooding allowed several animals to escape a local zoo the previous night. Wild animals continue to roam the capital's streets as Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili advises Tbilisi residents to stay indoors until all have been recaptured. Special forces were deployed to find and tranquillize the hippo, which was eventually guided back to the zoo by a group of men. A number of the escaped animals are still at large, but many have been caught again or been killed. Meanwhile rescue workers are searching for people who may be trapped in their homes due to the flooding, which has so far claimed the lives of at least 12 people.
