Obama Wants Iranians To Save Face

President Barack Obama told reporters that provisions of a final deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program are likely to be written in a way that allows Iran to sell the plan back home while, in practice, achieving the goals of the United States and its allies.
Speaking during a White House news conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Obama stressed that the U.S. won’t back away from its insistence that sanctions be phased out gradually and re-implemented if Iran is disingenuous.
