Ohio Sheriff Investigates Cleveland Boy's Shooting

An Ohio sheriff looking into the death of a 12-year-old boy shot by two Cleveland police officers while he played with a replica gun is set to report on the status of the probe on Tuesday. Cuyahoga County Sheriff Cliff Pinkney's report comes one week after the mother of Tamir Rice demanded criminal charges against the two officers in the death of her son last November. Rice was black. Rice, a sixth-grader, was playing with a replica handgun that mainly shoots plastic pellets when he was shot twice in November by police responding to a 911 emergency call about a man with a gun outside a recreation center.
