Dassault's new Falcon 8X business jet got its first public outing as it flew at the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, Tuesday. The Falcon 8X is one metre (3.2 ft) longer than Falcon 7X and has the capacity to carry 8 to 19 passengers, with a range of 11,945 km (7,423mi). Paris Air Show showcases the latest in aircraft manufacturing, aerospace technology, civil aviation equipment, along with weapons and military equipment for air defense units. The oldest airshow in the world, it has been held annually since 1909. The event will run until June 21 and showcase 2,215 exhibitors from more than 46 countries.
