Turkish Mine Disaster Protestors: "Not an Accident but Murder"

Hundreds of protesters marched in western Turkey on Monday, demanding harsh sentences for mining company executives at the start of their trial over the deaths of 301 miners.
The underground fire last May was the country's worst industrial accident in it's history. Sending deadly carbon monoxide coursing through the mine in the town of Soma.
Family members gathered In the western town of Akhisar, just 25 miles from Soma, protesters carried banners near the court reading "Not an accident but murder."
The judge initially called in police, some in riot gear, to try and quell the unrest. He then adjourned the hearing and called for eight defendants being held on remand to be brought in on Wednesday.
