Apple Reveals New Version of WatchOS for Apple Watch Developers

Apple announced watchOS 2, which offers native access to the Apple Watch's sensors and digital crown

While Apple Watch apps like maps, music and mail previously had native access to every internal function of the wrist-bound device, all third-party apps were dependent on the Bluetooth-connected iPhone, which limited their functionality.
