France: 100s join group Pokemon Go session in Paris after late French release

Pokemon fans gathered near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Sunday, to participate in a Pokemon Go group hunting, after the game was finally released in France.
More than 5,000 people were registered on the Facebook event and hundreds were gathered around the Eiffel Tower to join in the group game session.
The game, which can be downloaded onto smartphones, has garnered massive public attention since its launch this month, with millions of players and downloads, sparking a cultural phenomenon.
The game is free to play and operates on the basis of a player's location, determining which of the Pokemon creatures will appear and whether they be captured.
