Mexican authorities are on a manhunt for Mexico’s most notorious criminal after Joaqin Guzman, known as ‘El Chapo’, escaped from the Altiplano, famous for being one of the most secure prisons in Mexico. The leader of the infamous Sinaloa drug trafficking cartel escaped through a hole in the shower of his cell from the maximum security cell through a sophisticated mile-long tunnel leading to a building under construction in the nearby town of Almoloya de Juarez, baffling investigators.
