Around 100 people who held accounts and deposited money at Ukraine's Delta Bank before it went bankrupt earlier this year staged a protest in front of the National Bank of Ukraine in Kiev, Friday. Wearing Pinoccio noses and masks of Ukrainian politicians, the protesters are demanding the nationalisation of the bank and that their payments be returned. According to Fund Deposit Guarantee, eight billion Ukrainian hryvnias or $362 million (€322 million) has already been paid to depositors - around 60 percent of the total amount guaranteed. The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) declared Delta Bank insolvent on March 2. Founded in 2006, it was the fourth biggest bank in Ukraine in terms of assets and was worth around $247 billion (€220 billion).
