Thailand: Mourners line up in Bangkok as King’s body is transferred to Grand Palace

Thousands of people stood mourning alongside the streets of Bangkok for the funeral procession of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Friday, as his body was transferred from the Siriraj Hospital to the Grand Palace.
Citizens of Bangkok were dressed in black to show their respect for the world's longest reigning monarch.
King Bhumibol died aged 88 in Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital on Thursday. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha announced the king’s demise during a televised address to the nation. Chan-ocha informed the Thai people that the king's successor would be Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, adding that Thailand would hold a one-year period of mourning, reducing entertainment-related events and activities for one month.
