Psychiatrist: Colorado Shooter Knew What He Was Doing

A state-appointed psychiatrist said the colorado theater shooter James Holmes quote knew what he was doing when he killed 12 people during a Batman movie premiere.
Dr. William Reid's comments come as a jury decides whether Holme's disease or mental state met Colorado's legal definition of sanity.
The comment briefly frustrated the prosecutor, who said his witness had jumped ahead of him, and prompted the defense to ask for a mistrial.
The judge said Reid had to determine if Holmes could tell right from wrong, but not actually whether he understood it. In the end the psychiatrist said Holmes was legally sane and the ability to form intent to act.
