Doctors of Mexico City put on a red clown nose on Friday as part of an event to cheer the rescue helpers of the earthquake up. Marching through the most devastated parts of the city, they stopped to chant, sing and dance in front the numerous volunteers, rescuers, military and police at work, sometimes even hugging them.
"We like to do this because we see the need to go find people who are in a vulnerable state and we think we can help a little with a hug, with listening," said one of the clown doctors.
A devastating 7.1 earthquake struck Mexico on Tuesday killing at least 273 people. Mexico City mayor Miguel Angel Mancera claims that some 52 people have been pulled from the rubble of collapsed buildings so far.
