6 Minnesotans Arrested in the U.S. After They Tried to Join ISIS, FBI Says

The FBI arrested six Minnesotans on Sunday who allegedly planned to travel to Syria and fight for the Islamic State (ISIS). Federal agents charged the men with criminal conspiracy after a 10-month investigation. Four of the men were arrested in Minnesota, while two of them were arrested in San Diego, California. United States Attorney Andrew Luger said at a press conference on Monday, “As the complaint makes clear, this group is committed to joining [ISIS] by any means possible."
