Thousands of South Africans and New Zealanders descended on Yokohoma to watch the All Blacks vs. the Springboks on Saturday.
Widely considered the biggest game in rugby, this is the first time the titans have faced each other in the group stage of a World Cup.
"The Bokke's going to win. They haven't got a chance. These poor New Zealanders have come all this way for nothing," joked one South African fan.
"They've just got a strong team, the only team that comes close to the All Blacks is the Springboks. They are just one-and-above, they're both very strong teams. Definitely an entertaining game to watch," said a New Zealander.
The fixture is viewed as a must-win by both camps, not just for the points but for the morale and momentum moving through the tournament.
