UK: See JET BIKE rev up in preparation for land speed record attempt

88 25.05.2015 Инфо

Driver Richard Brown's Jet Reaction jet bike carved up the racing track at Pendine Sands in Wales, Monday, as the vehicle's team prepares to attempt the two-wheel land speed world record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in September 2015. Due to uneven and soft sand on the Welsh course, the vehicle could not attempt any major speeds. However the poor conditions allowed the seven-strong support team to practice for September, rehearsing refuelling, recharging the vehicle's battery, and assisting Richard Brown in and out of the vehicle among other technical procedures. The team is in the final stages of testing before they move the vehicle to the Bonneville Salt Flats where they will attempt the official world record. It will be Brown's third attempt to break a land speed record, with his Jet Reaction designed to travel at 400 mph (643 km/h). Video courtesy of: jetreaction.net
