Video of Secret Service Incident Shows Slow Nudge, not Crash, at White House

Video made public for the first time on Tuesday shows a Secret Service vehicle slowly entering the White House complex and nudging a temporary barrier as agents investigated a suspicious item near the building on March 4.
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform showed the video during a hearing with Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy, who testified for the third time on the incident. “The fact that I did not learn of this allegation until five days after it is said to have occurred infuriates me,” Clancy said, noting that he only heard of the incident from a phone conversation with a former agent mentioning an anonymous email being circulated about the event.
