Russia: Patriarch Kirill sends Easter greetings to ISS crew

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill made a video call to the current crew of the International Space Station, from Moscow on Sunday. Patriarch Kirill congratulated the cosmonauts of Expedition 43 on the occasion of the Orthodox Easter Sunday. Russian members of Expedition 43 - Anton Shkaplerov, Gennady Padalka and Mikhail Kornienko - were joined by US astronaut Scott Kelly, who celebrated Easter Sunday alongside his Russian colleagues. This year the Russian Easter celebration coincides with Cosmonautics Day, April 12.
