At least 55 people were confirmed dead on Sunday, after sizzling temperatures in Karachi caused many to suffer from heat stroke and dehydration. Temperatures in the city have reportedly reached heights of 46 degree Celsius (114.8 Fahrenheit) during the past two days. The Edhi morgue, where the bodies of the deceased were taken, received a total of 130 bodies in the last two days alone. The cause of death of all the bodies has yet to be confirmed.
