Thousands marched through the streets of Dresden on Saturday, to demonstrate against racism, sexism and the rise of the far right. The demonstration takes place ahead of upcoming state parliamentary elections.
Protesters marched with banners featuring slogans such as "United against racism and fascism," "stop deportations" and "FCK AFD."
Federal Minister of Finance Olaf Scholz and other SPD members were seen taking part in the event.
