Kenya: Students march in honour of university massacre victims

Hundreds of Kenyan students marched through downtown Nairobi, Tuesday, in honour of the 148 people who were killed in the recent attack by Al-Shabab militants on a college campus in Garissa, April 2. The students demanded improved national security in the wake of the recent killings and requested state compensation for the families of the victims who were slain. The students also requested the construction of a memorial for the victims in the form of a commemorative stone. Following the march, the marchers proceeded to Nairobi University where a vigil was held in honour of the slain students.
