SOT, Vladimir Putin, Russian President (Russian): "We attach a huge importance to the development of our relations with your country in particular. With your country we are working on many avenues, mineral resources exploration, energy, industry, transportation, agriculture, the humanitarian sphere as well. With satisfaction I'd like to point out that last year our trade grew 28.5 percent reaching $1 billion, but of course that's not sufficient, that's not enough. At the plenary session of the economic forum with the people who work in the economy, I said that this is not sufficient for our relations with the whole of Africa nor is it sufficient for our bilateral relations, because the figure is too small, we can do a lot more. I am hopeful that our today's contacts are going to give a wonderful impluse to our development, to our growth." *MULTIPLE SHOTS AT SOURCE*

SOT Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa: "Obviously today we appreciate your effort in bringing together all these African countries. Obviously the platform that we are utilising is economic development. We appreciate that. As Africa being part of this effort, the Africa free trade area presents an opportunity for African countries to participate with Russia in a meaningful way and this for us is very important." *MULTIPLE SHOTS AT SOURCE*
