Around 2,000 refugees and migrants attempted to pass the time while waiting to cross the border into Croatia from the Serbian border town of Berkasovo, Tuesday. Refugees camped out in make shift settlements set up by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) agency. Many of those waiting to cross into Croatia danced and sang around camp fires before further cold weather set in. Others could also be seen camping out in surrounding vineyards and gardens outside of the UNHCR temporary accommodation. Croatian police allowed a small number of people to cross into Croatia early Tuesday morning, with groups of around 150 people being allowed to enter every hour. Migrants are being bussed to the makeshift camps in Berkasovo from South Serbia, keeping the number of people waiting to cross the border at around 2,000 at any one time.
