Jeb Bush Clarifies Iraq War Answer

After three days of muddled statements about his comments about his brother’s decision to go to war in Iraq, Jeb Bush finally came up with a clear answer about the Iraq war and his brother’s messy political legacy. Facing a barrage of attacks from his Republican rivals, Bush went out of his way here Thursday morning to answer what he’d been dismissing as a “hypothetical” question in an effort to end the first real controversy enveloping his likely run for the White House. Bush said, "“We’re all supposed to answer hypothetical questions: knowing what we know now, I would not invade, I would not have gone into Iraq."
