The Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt was searched by German prosecutors, Tuesday. According to the bank, the search relates to an investigation into security transactions by clients. The bank stressed that none of its employees have been accused of wrongdoing in the case. The Frankfurt prosecutor's office commented "wide-ranging investigative measures" had been carried out. Deutsche Bank's premises have been searched several times in the past. Germany's largest lender was lately faced with probes into alleged manipulation of benchmark interest rates, tax evasion and money laundering.
