Russia: Putin greets Netanyahu in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Moscow, Tuesday to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Putin said that Russia and Israel "are in a constant contact" and "confirm the high level of relationship". He spoke of Israel’s importance to Russia lying not just in its "key" geopolitical position regarding "the situation in the Middle East, but also due to the historical relations, which connect our countries".
Netanyahu stated that both countries "always have issues to discuss as technologies, agricultural and trade cooperation, regional problems". He expressed his hope to discuss "how we can strengthen and develop these ties for next 25 years".
Netanyahu arrived in Moscow on Monday on a two-day visit, his second this year.
