SOT, Gholamhossein Esmaili, Iranian Judiciary Spokesperson (Farsi): "Yes, the news is true and there are two dossiers and indictment bills that have been issued for both cases too. One of the cases involves two people who have photographed military sites in our no-photography zones, who were arrested on the spot, at the time they were taking the photographs. The pictures and videos that they had recorded using camera-equipped drones of military and forbidden sites had been stored on the memory card of their drone camera which was seized. The other case has a security dimension and is about espionage for a foreign country. The act of espionage was not for the native country of the person but for another country. Both cases have had their indictments issued and are awaiting trial. It is for the court to make the final decision on whether they are criminals and should be convicted or some other decision should be made."
