Ukraine: 70 dogs burnt ALIVE in suspected arson attack

A shelter for dogs in the Ukrainian village of Lesovichi run by Italians remained in shock on Tuesday after a suspected arson attack resulted in the death of an estimated 70 dogs on Easter Sunday. The charred bodies of the incinerated animals were given a mass burial on the site of the shelter. About 20 to 25 dogs managed to survive the fire. The Italian built shelter called 'Rifugio' (Refuge), located in the Vyshgorod district of Kiev, is believed to have been been burned down by arsonists. According to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov authorities are searching for the culprits.
