Scuffles broke out between protesters and police in Podgorica on Saturday morning, after police attempted to clear out a protest camp set up by Montenegrin opposition parties. Several people were injured in the clashes, including opposition MPs. Milan Knezevic, the leader of the opposition Democratic People's Party, reportedly suffered severe injuries. Up to a dozen protesters were arrested. The camp, which was set up by the organisation the Democratic Front, has been operational since September 27. The organisation is demanding that Montenegro organise their "first ever free and fair elections." The Democratic Front is a union of several student and civic organisations.
