SOT, Protester: "So my girlfriend and I are here to basically in solidarity with the school kids that are here to protest this never-ending feeling of doom that I have had for basically all of my life and probably will continue to do so and I couldn't be happier a) with the turn out and b) with the support and the kind of unity that comes with a crisis like climate change, so it's really exciting to see this especially in London."

SOT, Protester: "My teacher threatened to give me an internal exclusion if I came. However, right, this is more important. I have been in school for five years. One day, it makes such a difference. The school is not even worth it, it's not even a question. I've done thousands of days at school and one day of this and this would make more of a difference."

London students joined thousands around the globe in cancelling school and joining climate change protests, for a second consecutive week on Friday.
The students rallied under the 'YouthStrike4Climate' banner and reportedly blocked busy streets in the English capital whilst carrying banners and chanting.
Within the past months, students have regularly ditched school on Fridays to join protests around the globe to demand stricter policies to combat climate change.
"One day, it makes such a difference. School is not even worth it, it's not even a question," said one young protester.
