In looking to turn Verizon's Never Settle Twitter slogan on its head with their own hashtag campaign, T-Mobile has sparked controversy on the social media site.
The carrier shelled out around $200,000 to place the jab in the promotional spot at the top of Twitter's trend list on Thursday, with #Never Settle For Verizon.
But click on the hashtag and the vast majority of tweets are mocking the carrier for featuring Verizon so prominently in its ad.
