Guinness World Record of the biggest schnitzel in the world was successfully broken on Sunday in Mengkofen in the German state of Bavaria with a 1208 kilogram (2663 pounds) weighing schnitzel.
The preparation of the massive meal was attended by thousands of spectators as well as an official judge of Guinness World Records who all had their share of schnitzel.
The 70 square meter schnitzel was reportedly made of 4 hundred chops, 4 thousand eggs and 250 kilograms (551 pounds) of bread crumbs while the frying process required 14 thousand liters of oil.
The Mengkofen schnitzel broke an earlier Guinness World Record of 550kg schnitzel broken in Frankfurt in 2011.
