Switzerland: All "relevant people" including current FIFA president Sepp Blatter could be interrogated, Swiss Attorney-General Michael Lauber said at at a press conference in Bern on Wednesday. Ten people have already been interviewed by authorities but the "world of football needs to be patient" as the investigation could take "months" or even "years" to complete, he added. Fourteen FIFA officials were arrested at the end of May in an investigation by the United States' FBI and the IRS-CI into corruption, money laundering and racketeering. The individuals are alleged by federal prosecutors to have used partnerships with sports marketing executives to gain $150 million (€137 million) in bribes in exchange for their backing for the sites of the FIFA 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
