Police used water cannon and tear-gas to enforce a curfew in Diyarbakir, Sunday. Footage shows police water cannon trucks making rounds through the streets of Diyarbakir, blasting those who remained on the streets with jets of water. People on the streets were also seen hurling stones and other projectiles at the police vehicles. The curfew was established after the Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK) reportedly bombed a checkpoint in Sirnak in the southeast of Turkey earlier on Sunday, killing two police officers; an incident which led to violent clashes in Diyarbakir in which five PKK fighters were reported killed. Turkish media reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has assured that the fight against the PKK will continue until "not one terrorist is left."
