Iranian oil exports have not suffered from new rounds of US petroleum-related sanctions, becoming instead "far better after November 4", according to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani during a televised address in Tehran on Tuesday.
Rouhani who made the remarks after a meeting with Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Chief Justice of Iran Sadeq Larijani added, "people are more at peace after November 4 and we are striving to keep this peace."
Rouhani also reiterated earlier comments made by Iranian officials that Tehran will keep up its oil production levels, despite OPEC opting to cut its 2019 oil output at the 5th ministerial meeting of OPEC and non-OPEC countries in Vienna on December 7.
The Iranian president also voiced Tehran's support of the Yemeni and Syrian peace processes believing it "shows Iran's success in regional issues."
