Израел: Прословутият мост в Тел Авив бе разрушен

Tel Aviv's Maariv bridge was demolished on Thursday as part of a new project to build a light rail transit (LRT) system at the site, the first LRT system in Israel's second most populous city. Transportation Minister Israel Katz detonated the explosives attached to the bridge. Dozens of onlookers watched the demolition from a distance, behind police barriers. Named after the Maariv newspaper, the bridge was built and erected in 1976 and was considered a local landmark of Tel Aviv.
