Syria: Russia's Airforce hit IS forts in Achan, breaking their lines

The Russian Air Force sorties bombed the fortification lines of the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in the village of Achan, in the Hama province, Sunday. The Defence Ministry claim that the "direct hit" led to the destruction of IS positions and their fuel reserves. A total of 64 sorties hit 63 IS positions overnight. Sukhoi Su24M and Su-34 bombers were used, alongside the Su-25SM assault aircraft.
