Reeva Steenkamp Parents Condemn Decision to Free Oscar Pistorius on Parole

The parents of Reeva Steenkamp have condemned a decision to free Oscar Pistorius on parole in August, when he will have served just 10 months in jail. After a months-long trial that gripped the nation, the Paralympian was jailed for five years last October. Now, he will be eligible for release to house arrest having served a sixth of his sentence and shown good behavior. Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide--the South African equivalent of manslaughter.
