Tom Brady Appeals NFL Suspension for Deflategate

The NFL Players Association officially filed an appeal of Tom Brady's four-game suspension, according to a statement released by the union on Thursday.
Furthermore, the New England Patriots were fined $1 million, and the Patriots will lose a first round draft pick in the 2016 NFL draft and a fourth-rounder in the 2017 draft.
A report from an attorney investigating the incident placed some of the blame on Brady, who he said probably had "at least general" knowledge of what went on.
The statement continued, "If Ted Wells and the NFL believe, as their public comments stated, that the evidence in their report is 'direct' and 'inculpatory,' then they should be confident enough to present their case before someone who is truly independent."
