Boat With Over 444 People Sinks in China River

A passenger ship carrying more than 444 people sank overnight in the Yangtze River in southern China. The official Xinhua News Agency reported Tuesday seven people have been rescued,
The news agency said, further rescue work was under way for the Chongqing bound boat. The report said, The boat departed from Nanjing and sank at about 9:28 pm Monday night.
Xinhua said the boat was carrying 397 Chinese passengers, five travel agency employees and 42 crew members.
