The world's largest 3D printer, the 'BigRep ONE,' was unveiled for the first time at the GITEX Technology Week conference in the Dubai World Trade Centre, Sunday. Created by Berlin-based company 'BigRep,' the BigRep ONE weighs four hundred kilogrammes (881lbs) and has a build volume of over one cubic metre. The printer is priced at roughly $60,000 (€52,842) and can print anything from robot parts and sculptures to chairs and tables. The BigRep ONE will be also feature in the construction of the world's first ever 3D printed office in Dubai, which when finished will be used by Dubai's Museum of the Future. The 35th GITEX Technology Week runs from October 18 until October 22.
