Switzerland: Koenigsegg reveals its €1.75 million supercar Revera at Geneva

Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg revealed its new supercar, the Koenigsegg Regera, at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, in the French-speaking capital of Switzerland on Tuesday.
Initially introduced in concept form at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Koenigsegg states that over 3,000 changes were made to the concept vehicle. The Regera was intiially announced to have a 5-litre, V8 twin-turbo engine able to produce more than 1,500bph, hitting a top speed of 255mph (410 kph) and reaching 0-62mph (0-100 kph) in 2.8 seconds.
Koenigsegg boasts its design by saying that all the vehicle's components, such as wheels, brake calipers, engines and transmission management systems, are all designed, engineered and built in-house.
The supercar is expected to fetch around €1.75 million ($1.9 million).
The 86th Geneva Motor Show takes place between March 3 and 13, 2016 and is held at the Palexpo convention center.
