SOT, David Chauca, Football fan (Spanish): "I'm an Israelite, and I'm preaching the Ten Commandments, so everybody knows what is good and bad to change our lives, and encourage with patience and love that which we love, and I love my team. That's why I'm supporting it morally and spiritually, fasting, giving offerings, and making sacrifices, all that people used to do, now we do it in Peru."

SOT, David Chauca, Football Fan (Spanish): "In Brazil, in the whole country and in each of us there is sin, but the time has come for change; change in our lives and in our paths. God is jealous, he doesn't want us to worship false gods, only the God of Israel and we have to praise Him."

A superfan of Peru's national football team, known as the 'Peruvian Israelite,' arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Monday to support his team in the Copa America all the while preaching his religious beliefs
Footage shows David Chauca dressed in Peru's colours and waving a Peruvian flag, arriving at a bus station in Rio de Janeiro with a handful of fellow football fans.
Chauca, who made a name for himself as one of Peru's most devoted football fans at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, is a member of the Israelites of the New Universal Pact, a Peruvian end-times sect which believes Peru is the promised land.
"I'm an Israelite, and I'm preaching the Ten Commandments, so everybody knows what is good and bad to change our lives, and encourage with patience and love that which we love, and I love my team," Chauca said. "That's why I'm supporting it morally and spiritually, fasting, giving offerings, and making sacrifices."
Peru will face Bolivia on Tuesday and Brazil on Saturday in the group stage of the Copa America.
