Smart Coffee Roaster Will Cut Your Brewing Time in Half

For coffee addicts, there's nothing like the smell (and taste) of a fresh cup, but roasting at home takes time — and a certain amount of guesswork — to get it just right.
A London-based startup's Ikawa Home Roaster syncs with an app to let you have more control over the taste. The digital micro-roaster, which recently reached its crowdfunding goal of $122,000 on Kickstarter, pairs with the Ikawa smartphone app via Bluetooth. From there, you can control the roasting duration, temperature, airflow and the recipe to personalize it to your liking with digital precision.
